"Remixing Kraftwerk ?" Paul answers one of the biggest rumours...

Loopz: Kraftwerk and Orbital...there are lots of rumours

Paul: All i know is what Jones as told me. No one has said anything to us, Purely a rumour

Loopz: I had about 8 emails in one week all saying the same thing. Orbital remix the new Kraftwerk stuff.

Paul: Id give it a go.

Loopz: I knew you would be up for it ... They had about 3 or 4 groups down alongside as well.

Paul: Probably Daft Punk...

Loopz: Yep...that was one of them

Paul: But no one has offered it us yet. Basically it was those who played at Tribal Gathering.

"Remixing James?" One that not many people have heard - but again another rumour ?...

Loopz: How about people like James.

Paul: What about them ?

Loopz: Have you been approached to remix any James tracks.

Paul: Not on a visual capacity...i would do them cause i like them...after Lollapoloza. It would be a time thing. The only thing i would have to say is oh no...at the moment we are turning down everything cause we want to get on with our new album. Its well over due. The only thing i would halt the album for is the Kraftwerk one.

Loopz: Oh year...

Paul: you'd have to do that.

Loopz: Its compulsory really aint it ?

"The New Album ?" - The one that everyone wants to know ... what about the New Album ?...

Loopz: How is the album shaping ?

Paul: Fine ... i think

Loopz: Any finished tracks as yet?

Paul: We seem to be building them up from the bottom...and me and Phil will go from no finished tracks to all finished tracks in a week. We just keep switching between tracks, which is weird cause we dont normally do that.

Loopz: Is there a theme that u are following ?

Paul: Nothing is becoming clear yet...Id be hesitant to say its like this...cause people would tell me "No No its like this"

Loopz: I remember you saying that In Sides was gonna be more...more uplifting...more dancy.

Paul: I think this one is doing that more...its got some heavy old tracks on it though and some strange...yaknow...Its got some hard points but its got some soft points as well and some funny points.

"Anything else going on ?" ... Anything else we should know about ?...

Loopz: Is there anything else going on apart from the album?

Paul: No...not really. No film work. I wanna do the album myself...its been a long time.

"The Live Set ?"...The next live tour...

Loopz: After this album do you think you will touring ?

Paul: That will be the plan but i dont want to start planning that until we finish the album cause last time it all got a bit rushed. I dont think it got spoilt for it but yaknow...the only thing that got spoilt was my stressed levels. Before we quite finished...people were trying to organise the tour...and im saying its gonna take X amount of time to Prepare the live set. But people dont believe you , so im not even gonna tell them when its nearly finished. We could say "Were Finished" and they could go "Ahhh, oh my god we gotta to organise a tour". And we would say "Yeah...youll have to do it later wont u"

Loopz: Always too much rush on it. I heard or read somewhere that you were revamping the live set.

Paul: we revamped it for Lollapolaza...but yaknow it will be a new live set when it comes around this time...No more Belinda Carlisle i dont think.

Loopz: Halcyon...without Belinda or... ?

Paul: Who knows

Loopz: Who can tell :) I think what they meant by revamping is by the visuals or something.

Paul: oh sure...that will develop and change. I like to try something different every time.

Loopz: Now very last question. I keep getting loads and loads of emails about this as well. Its doing my head in. The muffled voice at the end of The Box.

Paul: what the sort of whistling.

Loopz: its sort of like...if there is a Tv on in the background or something like that. Muffling speaking voice at the end.

Paul: Is there now...Oh i know...yeah where it sort of like goes (Paul does a remarkable impression of the end of the box)...where u can hear the overtones of the guitar and then you hear (Paul does an impression of the muffled voice...again too close for comfort)

Loopz: thats it yeah...What on earth is it ?

Paul not telling...i know.

Loopz: Oh u do ? We had some really amusing comments. People saying that its satanic voices and stuff like that.

Paul: well maybe it is......im not saying a word.

Loopz: ok...keeping stum on that one then.

Paul: yeah.yeah.
